Whiskey Wonderland
What You Need
- 1.5 ozWhiskey
- 0.75 ozSpiced pomegranate syrup (or grenedine)
- 1 ozLemon juice
- Top withQ Club Soda
Mix It Up
Put whiskey, spiced pomegranate syrup (or grenadine), and lemon juice in a shaker tin over ice. Shake and strain into a high ball glass filled with ice. Top with Q CLUB SODA and garnish with a lemon wheel. With a drink like this, it really is the most wonderful time of the year.
Spiced pomegranate syrup instructions: Add 1 broken up cinnamon stick, 2 tbsp star anise, 1 tbsp fennel seed, 1 tbsp peppercorns and 0.5 oz tsp cloves to a small, dry sauce pan and toast over medium heat until fragrant (3-4 minutes). Add 1 cup water, 0.5 cups pomegranate juice and 0.5 cups sugar and bring to a simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let rest for 1 hour. Strain into a container and keep up to 2 weeks.
